Waiting on God | Dennis Diaz
The LORD gives strength to those who are weary. Even young people get tired, then stumble and fall. But those who trust the LORD will find new strength. They will be strong like eagles soaring upward on wings; they will walk and run without getting tired. Waiting on God does not mean to passively waiting for God to do something Some version translate “wait” as “Hope.”
Hope is the joy and peace we experience when we trust that our future is in the hands of a good God who has good plans for us. The more your hope is in God, the more joy and peace you will experience. I love this quote about waiting on (hoping in) God: When “waiting” you are not doing nothing. You are doing the most important something there is. You are growing your soul up. You are stirring faith to soar above the storms the way the eagle does and to persevere with joy through whatever lies before you.
