Small Groups meeting weekly
Small groups are a key aspect of our church community.
At Desert Oasis Church, we follow the model of the New Testament Church in the book of Acts.
Acts 2:46 "Day by day they continued meeting together in the TEMPLE
and breaking bread from HOUSE TO HOUSE.
The church met both in large groups - in the Temple, and small groups - house to house. The church must grow larger and smaller at the same time. We grow larger to reach as many people as possible with the life-giving message of Jesus. We gather together for the proclamation of the Word, corporate worship and prayer, and for celebrating baptisms and the Lords Supper together in our Sunday meetings. We gather in small groups, (DO Groups) which are better to develop deeper relationships, care for one another and go deeper in the study of God's Word.
